The breeding prevention
One of the most important factors in the breeding, and too often neglected, is the hygiene. With hygiene we mean the amount of bacteria and the infesting pressure on parasites that are present in the breeding. The higher the value, the higher the risk of diseases. The environmental amount of bacteria is the most difficult parameter to be managed and it only depends from the breeder’s control. The majority of the methods used to reduce the environmental amount of bacteria are put into action when animals are in the breeding, since they are really toxics and aggressive.
The AviProp diffuser uses plant origin substances because they are both healthy and they are not toxic. The bee-glue (propolis) is the most efficient and tolerant element. It has also an immostimulant action. The propolis is a product made by bees collecting the plants’ apical buds. Inside the beehive, into the inner covering, it is used as natural antibiotic. Propolis is a substance composed by 180 active principles. It has an antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, immunostimulant, anti-inflammatory and radical scavenger action. The propolis is administered by airway. The diffuser spreads the product all over the breeding. All the birds in the breeding take the active principles. Propolis has not by-products and it improves the birds’ respiration.
